Sail along the north Norfolk coast for a few hours or a 10 hour day sail from our home port of Wells Next the Sea. We slip lines on the morning ebbing tide and then can either head east to Blakeney or as far as the Chalk Reef at Sheringham or we can sail west to Scolt Head Island, Brancaster, Thornham or the Wash.  At our chosen destination (weather depending) we drop the anchor, swim and enjoy a delicious locally sourced picnic. Expect to be sailing for about 3-4  hours in each direction.  We shall return on the flooding evening tide. Sail north Norfolk!

Time:
1 full day depending on tides, weather and the light.

Boat Options:
20’ open wooden lug rigged crab boat (up to 6 pax).
30’ whelk boat (up to 8 pax).

Cost;
£795 for 6 pax the crab boat.
£1200 for 8 pax on our larger whelk boat..

Food:
We work with local food producers to provide some of the best of Norfolk’s sustainable food. Breakfast is typically bacon and eggs with tea or locally ground coffee or a vegetarian option such as halloumi cheese, mushrooms and tomatoes and for lunch we serve a light picnic or if it is cold, soup. We also serve homemade cake which could vary from flapjack to lemon drizzle cake to chocolate cake.

Experience:
No experience is required, we are super flexible, so you can either drive the boat and handle the sails or just sit back and relax!
